Eighteen ladies attended GFWC-SC Eastern District Meeting on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the North Myrtle Beach Historical Museum. GFWC-SC President, Janet Prince, was the guest speaker. She explained the top three projects for GFWC-SC this year. She encouraged members to “Share Your Passion” by supporting and learning more about cancer awareness, dyslexia, and domestic violence, three areas her administration will be focusing on.
Club member Brenda Tarkenton received recognition from GFWC-SC President, Janet Prince, for the club’s support and contributions to Operation Smile, an international organization providing surgical procedures to children born with cleft palates. Brenda was chairperson for the club’s Operation Smile project.
